ISIKHWAMA somshwalense wabasebenzi i-Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) siyingxenye yohlelo loMnyango wezaBasebenzi lokulekela abasebenzi. I-UIF ithola imali yayo eminikelweni njalo ngenyanga ekhokhwa ngabaqashi nabasebenzi. Lokhu kwenziwa u-1% osuswa eholweni lomsebenzi kanjalo nemali ewu 1% ekhokhwa ngumqashi. Abasebenzi abangayikhokhi i-UIF yilaba: abasebenza ngaphansi kwamahora awu-24 ngenyanga; abasebenzi bakahulumeni abasebenza ngaphansi kwesigaba 1(1) soMthetho wemisebenzi kahulumeni ka-1994 (abanye ungababona ku www.ufiling.gov.za).

Ibalwa kanjani imali ekhokhwela umsebenzi? Amazinga okukhokwa ngawo imihlomulo ihambisana nesikhathi semihlomulo eyahlukene phakathi kuka-38% kuya ku-60% weholo lakho lokugcina. Abantu abahola imali ephansi bathola iphesenti eliphezudlwana. Futhi abasebenzi bathola ama-credit ngesikhathi besebenza futhi bekhokha kwi-UIF. Isicelo sokuphelelwa umsebenzi sikhokhwa uma umsebenzi exoshiwe, noma umqashi emisa ukusebenza noma inkontileka yomsebenzi isiphelelwe yisikhathi. Uma kwenzeka umsebenzi esula emsebenzini, i-UIF ngeke imkhokhele ngaphandle uma kukhona ubufakazi bokuthi kwabe kuwukuxoshwa okwakhayo.

Isicelo selivi yokubeletha kufanele senziwe ngaphambi kokubelethwa kwengane noma ezinyangeni eziyisithupha zokubelethwa kwengane. Umsebenzi kufanele aveze ukuthi uhola ngaphansi kweholo elijwayelekile ngesikhathi eselivini yokuyobeletha.

Isicelo sokugula kufanele sifakwe ezinyangeni eziyisithupha umsebenzi ayeka ngazo ukusebenza ngenxa yokugula. Imihlomulo ikhokhwa kusukela ngosuku umsebenzi ayeka ngalo ukusebenza ngenxa yokugula.

Isicelo soku-adoptha ingane naso kufanele senziwe ezinyangeni eziyisithupha kodwa ngemumva kokukhishwa yinkantolo efanele komyalelo woku-adoptha. Ingane e-adopthiwe kufanele ibe ngaphansi kweminyaka emibili.

Mayelana nemihlomulo yomsebenzi oseshonile engafakanga isicelo; umuntu ophilayo aganene naye noma ingane yakhe ingafaka isicelo ezinyangeni eziyisithupha kusukela ngosuku lokushona komsebenzi obekhokha kwi-UIF.

Okumqoka wukuthi njalo uma uzofaka isicelo kumele uphathe umazisi futhi isicelo sakho kumele usifake kungakapheli izinyanga eziyisithupha.
