I-Menopause ifika nezinguquko eziningi kumuntu wesifazane

Udokotela wesikhumba ozimele ozinze eThekwini uDkt Cebi Sibisi uthe lesi yisikhathi esihle kakhulu sokukhuluma ngokukhululeka ngezinguquko abantu besifazane abaningi ababhekana nazo ikakhulu uma sebesesigabeni se-menopause, lapho abasuke bengasangeni ezinsukwini zabo nyangazonke futhi bengeke besakwazi ukukhulelwa, bazale izingane.

Uthe konke lokhu kudalwa wukuthi isikhumba nezinwele kuyakhombisa uma kuwukuthi sekunezinguquko ezenzeka emzimbeni wakho ikakhulu kwabesifazane, okudinga ukuthi abantu bakuqonde lokhu kusenesikhathi ukuze kungabagqilazi emqondweni uma sekwenzeka.

UDkt Sibisi unamathiphu angasiza ukubhekana nezinguquko ze-menopause:

- Ukuphuza amanzi amaningi ngosuku, uwathake ngezithako zezithelo ezinempilo ukusiza ukubuyisa amandla esikhumbeni.

- Ukusebenzisa imikhiqizo ye-sunscreen usakhula nje ukuze ukhule isikhumba sakho siyijwayele.

- Sebenzisa imikhiqizo egunyazwe ngabezempilo yokususa amabala namaqhuqhuva ebusweni nasemzimbeni.

- Qaphela indlela oyisebenzisa ukunakekela isikhumba sakho njengoba sizwela kalula kunoma yini oyisebenzisa kusona.

- Lala ngokwanele futhi ugweme izinto eziphazamisa umqondo wakho ngoba ukugqilazeka emqondweni kudala ingcindezi esikhumbeni sakho. 

- Gwema ukudla okusheshayo nokunamafutha amaningi, bese ugxila kokunempilo okungaba yizithelo, imifino nokunama-protein.

- Gwema ukugeza ngamanzi ashisa kakhulu ngoba aba nomthelela omubi esikhumbeni sakho. 

"Wonke umuntu wesifazane ubhekana nezinguquko ze-menopause ngendlela ehlukile nehambisana nendlela adalwe ngayo, ngakho akumele ukuthi ubhekane nalezi zinguquko wedwa ngoba zikhona izindlela zezempilo zokuzixazulula," kucebisa uDkt Sibisi.
